Hello again!
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! It was really nice getting to go home for a few days and visit with family and friends who I had not seen in a while. I was so excited to finally get a home cooked meal! I am still stuffed from all the turkey, dressing and delicious pies!
Since I last blogged, the team has participated in a few different things. The week of homecoming, the team got to participate in the homecoming parade. We showed off our school spirit as we passed out candy and cheered down the streets of Raleigh. It was a lot of fun even though it was a little cold. Then, before we left for Thanksgiving break, we had the opportunity to help provide food for a family that otherwise might not have had a Thanksgiving dinner. We provided them with all the essential items for a Thanksgiving feast. I know the team was really happy that we were able to help out this family. I really hope they enjoyed it!
Unfortunately, the Thanksgiving break just went by too fast. We have one more week of class and then.....FINALS!!!!! Over the next few weeks, the team and I will be studying hard to ensure that we ace every test! I know some of the girls got a head start and are already studying. Well I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving break and made it home safely. I will keep you all posted with upcoming events of the holiday season!
