RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State's 2011 women's basketball recruiting class has received high marks from three different outlets. Blue Star Basketball pinned the Wolfpack with the 19th best class in the nation.
Meanwhile, Premier Scouting Service and ESPN.com's HoopGurlz has the class rated No. 29 and 30, respectively.
The quartet of players includes Krystal Barrett (Dallas, Texas/Skyline HS), Erica Donovan (Northside, Texas/John Jay HS), Therany Dunnigan (South Euclid, Ohio/Midpark HS) and Kiana Evans (McKinney, Texas/Boyd HS).
According to ESPN.com's HoopGurlz, Top 100 combo guard Krystal Barrett is the top prospect in Kellie Harper's class. Her athleticism makes her a tremendous transition player and she has the ability to be lock people down defensively. She is ranked 75th in the class.
Three other quality players join the Wolfpack. Therany Dunnigan, a four-star power forward from Ohio, brings toughness and a defensive-minded presence to the court. Two three-star prospects from Texas round out the class. Erica Donovan is a 5-11 smooth and athletic wing and Kiana Evans is a 6-1 post.
