GREENSBORO, N.C. - NC State women’s basketball was picked to finish sixth in the ACC in a preseason poll of the Blue Ribbon Panel, which consists of national and local media, as well as school representatives.
The Wolfpack received one first place vote in the poll, the program's first since earning six in 2001. Duke was tabbed to finish first, followed by North Carolina and 2010 co-regular season champion Florida State in third place, while Maryland and Georgia Tech round out the top five.
