WILMINGTON, N.C. -
NC State wrapped up its stint at the UNC Wilmington Invitational on Sunday, with Will Rollinson falling in the B flight championship bout.
"We picked up some things that we've got to work on in order to have a successful spring season," said head coach Jon Choboy. "We've got to get tougher mentally."
Rollinson lost to UNCW's Alex Wetherell, 6-4, 7-6(4), in the flight B title match.
Ivan Sanchez Gomez and Julian Sullivan each played additional matches outside of the tournament bracket, both falling to UNCW netters. Sanchez Gomez took the second set but ultimately fell to Michael Pereira, 6-1, 3-6, 6-1, while Julian Sullivan was upended by Kinshuk Sharma, 6-3, 6-4.
