Gujarati has Strong Showing at Cliffs Fall Classic

Travelers Rest, S.C. - The NC State men's tennis team continued play for the second day of the Cliffs Fall Classic.
Akash Gujarati got his first singles win, defeating Owen Long of FSU, 6-0, 6-1. In his second match of the day, Gujarati won 6-2, 6-0, against Andre Chvetsov of Furman. Jaime Pulgar beat Anderson Reed of Florida State, 6-0, 6-2.
David Chermak lost a close match, 5-6, 6-3, (10-7), to Chvestov of Furman. Following that, Chermak fell to Sawyer Duncan of Furman, 6-3, 6-1. David Thomson continued his strong play, taking down William Parker of UNC, 6-4, 6-4.
Play will conclude today, Sunday, Sept. 20.
