Softball Game Called Off in Third Inning

RALEIGH, N.C. The NC State softball doubleheader with Radford was called off entirely in the bottom of the third inning of the first game at the Curtis & Jacqueline Dail Softball Stadium on Thursday, April 2 due to rain and projected forecasts.
State was leading 2-0 when play came to a halt.
NC State will host rival North Carolina for a three-game ACC tilt this weekend. The Pack will take on the Tar Heels at 1 and 3 p.m. this coming Saturday, April 4, before wrapping things up at 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 5. All three games will be broadcast live online via ACC Select, while GoPack.com will offer live stats.
