2/4/2009 12:00:00 AM | Women's Basketball
RALEIGH, N.C. All tickets for the fourth-annual Hoops for Hope, the NC State women’s basketball fundraiser for the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund, are now sold out.
The game, which will be played at 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 15 at Reynolds Coliseum against Virginia, will be a celebration of the late Coach Yow, who died on Jan. 22 after a long battle with breast cancer, and a celebration of the hundreds of cancer survivors whom she inspired.
Proceeds from the ticket sales and corporate sponsorships will go to the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund, which is part of the V Foundation for Cancer Research.
All gates and the will-call window will open at 1:30 for the game. Since all seats are general admission, fans are encouraged to arrive early to secure good seats and avoid heavy traffic.
A limited number of seats will be available for students and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Doors will open for students at 1:30 p.m. at the northwest doors of Reynolds, facing the Tally Student Center. Students must show a valid NC State student ID. No student guest tickets will be available for the game.
