No. 62 Women's Tennis Hits Road to SMU, TCU

RALEIGH, N.C. The No. 62 NC State women’s tennis team hits the road for four away matches in two weekends. The Wolfpack heads to Texas on Feb. 20 to take on Southern Methodist in Dallas at 1 p.m., and then to Fort Worth to take on No. 21 Texas Christian at 1 p.m. on Feb. 21. The Pack is 1-5 (0-1 ACC) on the season, SMU is 11-2, and TCU is 3-2 this year.
Sophomore Lenka Hojckova is currently in the rankings at No. 123 in singles. Junior Berkeley Brock and Hojckova broke into the doubles rankings, taking the No. 33 spot. Southern Methodist has one ranked singles player, No. 113 Natalia Bubien. Nina Munch-Soegaard and Macall Harkins are in the rankings for TCU at No. 6 and No. 85 respectively. Munch-Soegaard and Maria Babanova are No. 53 in doubles, and Anna Sydorska and Harkins are No. 13.
