D. Thomson Impresses at ITA All-American

Tulsa, Okla. - Three members of the men's tennis team began competition today at the ITA All-American Tennis Championships.

In the prequalifying rounds, Dave Thomson couldn't have asked for a better start. He began by beating Yannick Goossens of Cleveland State, 6-3, 7-6 (4). Following that match, Thomson swept Sam Gould of UC Irvine, 6-0, 6-0. He will take on Artem Gramma of Pacific tomorrow.

Rob Lowe won his match by default against Stepan Siska of New Orleans. He will go against Marcel Thiemann of Ole Miss tomorrow. Frideric Prandecki lost his opening match to Kayvon Karimi of Texas A&M, 6-2, 7-6 (2).

Competition will continue tomorrow.
