Nagaraj Advances to Quarterfinals of ITA Regionals

Winston-Salem, N.C. - Sandhya Nagaraj continued her solid play for the NC State women's tennis team on Saturday, Oct. 24. In her first match of the day, she beat Anna Milian of Elon, 6-2, 6-2. Following the match, Nagaraj took down Sasha Kulikova of Wake Forest, 4-6, 6-2, 6-2.

Berkeley Brock won her first match of the day, defeating Elizaveta Zaytseva of Winthrop, 7-5, 6-2. She then lost 7-5, 6-1, to Anna Zubori of South Carolina.

Lenka Hojckova was beaten by Ryann Cutillo of Wake Forest, 3-6, 7-5, 6-2. Ashley Miller lost to Amanda Granson of Duke, 6-2, 6-2.

Nagaraj will go against Josipa Bek of Clemson tomorrow.
