Men's Tennis Wraps Up UNC Invite

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The NC State men's tennis team wrapped up the UNC Invite on Sunday, Sept. 28, in Chapel Hill, N.C. Sophomore Rob Lowe and redshirt freshman Eric Turner both competed in singles play. Redshirt freshman Julian Sullivan, who had advanced to the finals in his consolation bracket, was not able to compete in his final match, so Turner replaced him, and defeated David Lue of Duke, 6-1, 3-6, 1-0 (5).
Lowe fell to Zachary Hunter (UNC), 4-2 ret.
Lowe and Sullivan also competed in doubles play throughout the weekend, winning three matches to advance to the finals. The pair fell to Fogelman and Donato of UNC, 8-5, in the final match.
The Pack will be back in action next weekend in the ITA All-American Championships. The tournament, which begins on Oct. 3, will take place in Tulsa, Okla.
