Men's Tennis Completes Day Two of UNC Invite

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The NC State men's tennis team completed the second day of the UNC Invitational in Chapel Hill, N.C. on Saturday, Sept. 27. Redshirt freshman Julian Sullivan advanced to the finals in the consolation bracket after winning two matches. Sullivan first defeated John Waters of Navy, 6-4, 6-4, and then took down Gregory Beekers of GSU, 6-2, 7-5. Sullivan will be taking on David Liu of Duke tomorrow morning to determine the winner of the consolation bracket.
Sophomore Rob Lowe fell in his consolation match to Liu, 4-6, 6-3, 1-0 (7), and redshirt freshman Eric Turner, who had won his first match of the tournament, fell to Alexsy Kotcheov of ECU, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3.
