Men's Tennis' Gujarati Advances to Flight Final

WILMINGTON, N.C. - NC State men's tennis freshman Akash Gujarati advanced to the final round of his singles flight with two wins on Saturday, Sept. 13 at the UNCW Collegiate Invitational. He will play in the final round on Sunday, Sept. 14. Redshirt freshman Eric Turner also competed, but lost in his singles match.

Gujarati defeated Henrik Skalmerud (ECU) in his first singles bout of the day, 3-6, 6-0, 11-7, and then took down Gustavo Bertei (UNCW), 6-3, 6-2. He will compete in the final match against Skalmerud on Sunday at 10:15 a.m.

Turner fell to Carlin Murray (Elon), 6-2, 6-4, but will play Sunday morning against Illia Ziamtsou of UNCW.
