Free Throw Shooting Goes South in Miami
NC State entered the Thanksgiving weekend leading the ACC in free throw shooting at 78.8 percent (67-for-85). But have since dropped to third in the league (72.0) after shooting just 45.4 percent (10-for-22) in two games in Miami, which included Shayla Fields, a career 77-percent shooter, going 4 of 11 from the line.
Fields Garners Three All-Tourney Team Honors
NC State played in three toournaments so far this season and Shayla Fields was named to the all-tournament team at each one, including earning MVP honors at the Wolfpack Invitational hosted by NC State during the campaign's opening weekend.
