'Chow4Yow' Bidding EndsThursday at 3 p.m.

RALEIGH, N.C. Time is running out to bid on dinner with NC State Hall of Fame women’s basketball coach Kay Yow and her staff.
The deadline for bidding in the “Chow4Yow” auction is Thursday at 3 p.m. The winner will be announced on Friday.
The current bid is $2,500 for the pre-holiday extravaganza, which includes dinner for four prepared by the women’s basketball staff at Yow’s home in Cary on Friday, Dec. 12, four courtside tickets to the men’s basketball game against Winston-Salem State on Dec. 13 and four courtside tickets to the women’s game against Mississippi on Dec. 14.
All 12 ACC schools are participating in similar auctions and raffles with the women’s head coaches to raise money for the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund, which was established two years ago in Yow’s honor for her long battle against cancer.
Proceeds from all 12 auctions will be bundled together to make on large donation to the fund, which is part of the V Foundation for Cancer Research.
