Practice Begins Friday For Wolfpack Women

The NC State women's basketball team begins practice Friday to officially start the 2008-09 campaign, the first date allowable under NCAA rules. The team is also scheduled to practice on Saturday.
NC State opens the season on Saturday, Nov. 15 by hosting the Wolfpack Invitational at Reynolds Coliseum. The Pack will take on UW-Milwaukee, while Charlotte and Southern Cal will also do battle that day. Games times have yet to be announced due to the impending kickoff time of the NC State-Wake Forest football game that same day. Start times for all events will be announced on GoPack.com when they become available.
The schedule also features an exhibition game against the Premier Players on Wednesday, Nov. 5., at 7 p.m.
Wolfpack fans, here are a few numbers to crunch on as the hoops season has arrived!!
00 Junior Amber White is just the second NC State player to ever wear this jersey number. LySchale Jones (1995-99) was the first.
