Red-shirt freshman guard Megan Zullo has started all 15 games this season and has played in 22 games overall with never attempting a free throw. She has played a total of 498 minutes in her career.
Wolfpack Offense on a Roll
Over the last four games, NC State is averaging 78.4 points per game. During this stretch, the Pack scored 80 or more points in back-to-back games for the first time since doing it twice in the 1999-00 season. The Pack has five players averaging at least 9.2 points over the five games.
Gartrell Flourishing in Second Year with Pack
There hasn't been a sophomore slump for shooting guard Nikitta Gartrell. Over the last four games, the Atlanta, Ga., native is averaging 11.0 points, 4.8 assists, 4.6 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game. Gartrell has scored in double figures in four of the five games and has dished out 23 assists against only 12 turnovers for a nice 1.9 A/TO ratio.
Zullo Finding Her Range
Even though she struggled to an 0-for-7 effort from 3-point range last time out, red-shirt freshman sharp-shooter Megan Zullo has been white hot from 3-point range over the last four games, drilling 13 of 23 attempts - for a a .565 shooting percentage. She canned a career-high five trey's against North Carolina A&T (12/16) and then had four each in wins over Ole Miss (12/21) and Alabama State (12/28). She is 4th in the ACC with 2.27 3FG per game.
