NC State men's tennis, who finished last season ranked No. 19 after the first Elite Eight Appearance in school history, will send three of its top players to Tulsa, Oklahoma for the ITA All-American Tournament.
"This is a talented field that our guys will go up against," head coach Jon Choboy said. "The best players in the country compete in the tournament, and we have had success in this field before. Hopefully our guys can play at a high-level this week and find that success this year, too."
Senior Nick Cavaday and juniors Jay Weinacker and Derek Stephens will all compete for the Wolfpack starting Saturday, Sept. 29.
Derek Stephens, who is in the first year with the team after transferring from Tennessee, will open play for the Pack in the pre-qualifying rounds starting on Sept. 29.
Nick Cavaday and Jay Weinacker earned spots in the qualifying draw, which opens play on Monday, October 1.
If any or all of the players advance through qualifying, then they will enter the main draw on Wednesday, October 3.
