M. Tennis in Action at Tar Heel Invite

Eric Turner and Daniel Schinke both competed in the Tar Heel Invitational on Friday as the first day of the tournament got under way. Turner advanced in the main draw, while Schinke fell in a tough three-set match in singles. The duo also fell in doubles play.

Turner won his match, 6-4, 2-0, Ret., against Plamen Tzvetkov of Coastal Carolina.

Schinke lost a three-setter after winning the second set by a score of 6-2. He fell in the first and third sets, however, 6-1.

The Pack duo lost to Samuelson/Stone of Duke, 8-2.

Doubles and singles action will continue throughout the weekend.
