Weinacker, Cavaday Win Doubles Title at Virginia Invitational

NC State's talented duo of Jay Weinacker and Nick Cavaday, ranked No. 29 nationally in the preseason ITA doubles rankings, won the A-2 Doubles Flight at the Virginia Fall Invitational. with wins over a pair of ACC doubles tandems.
The Pack duo defeated the nation's No. 24 pairing of Dominic Inglot and Houston Barrick of Virginia, 8-6, in the semifinals Sunday morning in Charlottesville, Va, but the Red and White wasn't done yet.
Cavaday and Weinacker, who are ranked No. 55 and No. 125, respectively, in the ITA Singles ranks, then faced a tandem from ACC rival Wake Forest.
NC State won that match, 8-6, over Mariusz Adamski and Carlos Salmon to take the title.
