W. Tennis Heads to Tennessee Invitational to Open Season

The NC State women's tennis team will send seven players to Knoxville, Tenn. for the Tennessee Invitational, September 14-16. The Wolfpack finished 2006-07 as the No. 41 ranked team in the ITA nationally, and return No. 1 singles player Daria Petrovic. Petrovic finished 2007 No. 14 in the Southeast region and No. 97 nationally.

Also making the trip are senior Julia Roach, junior Neils Barringer and sophomores Berkeley Brock, Kristin Bleakley, Catherine Grotz and freshman Lenka Hojckova.

The tournament marks the first of five tournaments this fall for the Pack.
