2006 All-ACC Academic Cross Country Teams Announced

To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.
On the men’s team, John Crews, Tibor Vegh, Stephen Furst and Chris Kollar, all juniors, earned academic all-conference honors. Vegh, Furst and Kollar are repeat honorees. Crews, Vegh and Furst were All-ACC by virtue of their finish at the ACC Championships.
On the women’s side, sophomore Brittany Tinsley and freshman Bona Jones were named academic all-conference. Tinsley is a repeat winner. She and Jones earned All-ACC honors at the conference championship meet, and Jones was an All-American after her finish at the NCAA Championships.
