No. 44 NC State improved to 9-5 overall on the season with a 6-1 thumping of
The prolific doubles teams for NC State jumped out to an early advantage as Roach/Green and Brock/Bleakley both won their matches, 8-0, at No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. Guerra/Petrovic then won at No. 1 doubles, 8-5, to finish the doubles sweep.
In singles, Berkeley Brock posted a straight set win, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 2 over Katy Robey to stack the Pack to a 2-0 lead in the match.
Kate Green and Kristen Bleakley then won their matches at No. 5 and No. 6, respectively, as both dropped just two games in their matches as NC State clinched the team win.
After
Alejandra Guerra then finished the impressive win with a 7-5, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles.
The Wolfpack squad returns to ACC action this weekend as its travels to No. 63 Virginia and No. 69 Virginia Tech.
