The last time NC State and Western Carolina played each other, the Wolfpack put a thumping of historical proportions on the host Catamounts. NC State set a ACC record for points scored with a 137-65 victory on Jan. 8, 1990.
Wolfpack Offense on a Roll
Over the last four games, NC State is averaging 80.0 points per game and has scored 80 or more points in back-to-back games for the first time since doing it twice in the 1999-00 season. The Pack has five players averaging double figures over the past four games.

There hasn't been a sophomore slump for shooting guard Nikitta Gartrell. Over the last four games, the Atlanta, Ga., native is averaging 12.8 points, 4.8 assists, 4.8 rebounds and 1.8 steals per game. Gartrell has scored in double figures in each of the last four games and has dished out 19 assists against only nine turnovers for a nice 2.1 A/TO ratio.
Zullo Finding Her Range
Red-shirt freshman shooter Megan Zullo has been white hot from 3-point range over the last three games, drilling 13 of 16 attempts - that's a .813 shooting percentage folks! She canned a career-high five trey's against North Carolina A&T (12/16) and then had four in wins over Ole Miss (12/21) and Alabama State (12/28).
Balanced Attack
NC State has had at least four double figure scorers in each of the last three games, including a season-high five last time out against Alabama State. In addition, eight different players have scored in double figures this season.
