Kay Yow Classic
Wednesday, October 31
Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club
Pinehurst, N.C.
Come join us for a first class event at the Pine Needles Lodge and Golf Club as we “Play FORE! Kay!” Proceeds will go directly towards new initiatives for the NC State Women’s Basketball program and a local breast cancer charity “Pretty in Pink”.
The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina Kay Yow Classic is an event created to combine the camaraderie, competitive spirit and tremendous love for Wolfpack Athletics that Coach Yow embodies. The golf tournament serves as: 1.) a chance for those who support Coach Yow to fellowship and hear her inspiring message, 2.) an opportunity to recognize Pretty in Pink, a nonprofit organization that raises money for breast cancer treatment and 3.) a way to generate funds that will benefit Wolfpack Women’s Basketball and provide the support that will enable Coach Yow to continue her legacy with the program.
The day will feature golf at the home of the 2007 Women’s US Open, Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club in the quiet town of Pinehurst, great prizes, a full buffet breakfast before golf, and a personal speech by Hall of Famer Kay Yow!
Please call as space is limited! Team participation is growing by the day!
