Pack Receiving Votes in USA Today/NFCA Top 25 Poll

Raleigh, N.C. - Head coach Lisa Navas and the NC State softball team made a dent in the recently released USA Today/National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Top 25 poll. The Pack collected 74 total points, 26th overall, making it the first team left outside the top 25.
Florida State stands as the only Atlantic Coast Conference team in the top 25 with 79 points. The Pack led all league teams not included in the top 25. Georgia Tech (40), North Carolina (21) and Virginia Tech (3) also collected points, but did not make the poll.
