Few Spots Remain For 2006 Wolfpack Softball Fall Clinics

The NC State softball program will offer multiple clinics during the fall 2006 school semester. Players will have the opportunity to learn and improve their game from head coach Lisa Navas, the 2006 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Softball Coach of the Year, as well as assistant coach Jay Pyron and pitching coach Leigh Ann Ellis. Emphasized topics will include pitching, run production, defense, catching, and hitting. Registration is required and only a very limited number of clinic spaces remain available.

The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) selected the 2006 NC State softball coaches as the staff of the year in the Southeast Region. With Navas at the helm, the Pack climbed the 50-win plateau, securing its first NCAA Tournament berth, as well as both ACC regular season and tournament titles, in just its third year of existence last season.
