Softball to Hold Info Session on Open Tryouts

Wolfpack softball assistant coach Jay Pyron will hold an information session for NC State students interested in trying out for the red and white softball team on Monday, Aug. 28, at 10 am. Interested students should assemble to meet with Pyron in the lobby of the Case Athletic Center on the second floor where tryout information will be dispersed. Actual tryouts will not be held that day.

The 2006 Pack edition won 50 games, collected both the ACC regular season and tournament championships, and made the NCAA Tournament field in just its third year of existence.
