Pope Places 10th at NCAA Championships in Shot Put

Raleigh, N.C. - Mitchell Pope of the NC State track & field team came away with a 10th place finish in the shot put at the 2006 NCAA Outdoor Championships held this weekend in Sacramento, California. Pope's top heave of the day was 61'09", and he was the final competitor for the Wolfpack. Yesterday, Ebony Foster earned All-America honors with her sixth place finish in the 100 meter hurdles.
