No. 23/22 Wolfpack Softball No. 1 Seed at ACC Championship
Lisa Navas Named 2006 ACC Softball Coach of the Year
For the second straight season, three Wolfpack softball players were named to the All-ACC team. Abbie Sims and Shaina Ervin made the first team in 2006, while Jen Chamberlin was a second team selection. It was Sims' second straight first team nod, one of three ACC players to make the first team the last two years. Ervin was selected All-ACC for the first time in her career, and it was Chamberlin's second honor after making the first team in 2005.

2006 First-Team All-ACC
Earned first team honors for the second straight season, one of only three ACC players to accomplish that feat.
Won 21 games in the circle with a 1.69 ERA.
Struckout 264 batters in 211 innings pitched and ranked fourth in the ACC in strikeouts.
Led the team with a .290 batting average in the regular season and hit a career-high eight home runs, second on the team.
Ranks in the top-20 all-time in NCAA history in strikeouts per game.

2006 First-Team All-ACC
Led the ACC with a perfect 9-0 record against conference teams.
Led the conference in winning percentage overall at .842 (16-3 record).
Posted a 1.68 ERA to lead the team in the regular season overall and a 1.99 ERA in conference, second on the team.
First All-ACC selection.
Clinched the ACC regular season title as she pitched the final game of the sweep over North Carolina to secure the No. 1 seed.

Hit 11 home runs so far in 2006, second in the ACC.
Led the ACC with eight home runs against conference teams.
Hit .317 in league play and slugged .750 with 14 RBIs, the third best marks in conference games.
One of the most prolific home run hitters in ACC history, she is tied for third all-time in the conference with 34 home runs.
