Stansbury Named All-ACC Honorable Mention

NC State senior center Tiffany Stansbury earned All-Atlantic Coast Conference Honorable Mention honors after leading the Wolfpack in scoring seven times and posted 18 double figure games and three double doubles. She had season-bests of 23 points against Delaware State and 15 rebounds versus Iowa State in the Junkanoo Jam. She earned tournament honors in both the Junkanoo Jam and the NC State Tournament. She averages 12.4 ppg, 6.9 rpg 1.77 blocks per game. The Philadelphia native ranks ninth in the conference in field goal percentage (55.6), eighth in rebounding (6.9 rpg), fifth in offensive rebounds (2.96) and sixth in blocked shots (1.77).
NC State will face Clemson in the first round of the 2006 ACC Women's Basketball Tournament at 4 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, N.C. The winner advances to play Florida State on Friday at 4 p.m.
