Martinez Places 30th At USA Cross Country Championships

NEW YORK, N.Y. - John Martinez, a freshman distance runner on the NC State men's cross country and track & field teams, finished 30th in the 2006 USA Cross Country Championships at Van Cortlandt Park in New York City on Sunday. The Stony Point, N.Y. native ran the 8K course in 25:25, to place in the top half of the men's junior race.
