Women's Basketball Media Day

NC State hosted its women’s basketball media day on Thursday at Reynolds Coliseum.

As the Wolfpack head down the final stretches of its preseason, head coach Kay Yow, her coaching staff, players and support staff took time after their afternoon practice to address the media.

While the players thumbed through the new media guide that was unveiled during the festivities, a handful of local and regional media members gathered to discuss the upcoming season.

After Wednesday night’s impressive victory over the Premier Players, an exhibition club made up of former Division I athletes, the Pack is certainly ready to get the season started next Thursday against High Point in the first round of the WNIT at Reynolds. Tip time is slated for 7 pm.

NC State, which was picked fourth in the always competitive Atlantic Coast Conference, is also receiving votes in the Preseason USA Today/ESPN Women’s Coaches’ Poll that was released yesterday.
