Brock, Bleakley Roll to Singles Titles at US Open

A pair of Wolfpack freshman rolled to singles titles on the final day of the 2006 Women's College Tennis Invitational. Berkley Brock beat the No. 2 and No. 3 seeds of the Singles 'B' Draw en route to her second tournament title in the three fall events. Kristin Bleakley won her flight as well at the prestigious collegiate event at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadow, N.Y.
Neils Barringer played for the Singles 'C' Draw title before losing in a strong run. She fell 6-4, 6-3 over Maria Anisimova (U Penn).
The doubles tandem of Alejandra Guerra and Daria Petrovic won the Doubles Flight 'A' with a 9-8 (1) win at the prestigious tournament.
Brock, though unseeded in the draw, pushed her way to the final in impressive fashion and dispatched Kristen Cargill of Duke in straight sets, 7-6 (3), 6-4.
Bleakley, the number one seed in the Singles 'D' Draw, won 6-2, 6-3 over Austin Hansen of
NC State will return to the courts the week of Oct. 12-16 at the ITA Regional Indoor championships in
