Women's Basketball Hosts Exhibition Wednesday Night

RALEIGH - NC State plays its lone exhibition game of the season on Wednesday night when the Pack hosts Premier Players at Reynolds Coliseum beginning at 7 p.m.
The Wolfpack returns eight letterwinners from last year's squad that finished 19-12 and made the NCAA Tournament for the 19th time in the last 25 years. NC State features three returning starters Marquetta Dickens, Ashley Key and Khadijah Whittington. Also returning for the 2006-07 campaign includes Sasha Reaves, Keisha Brown, Gillian Goring, Shayla Fields and Danielle Wilhelm.
Six freshmen, Sharnice Beal, Lucy Ellison, Nikitta Gartrell, Chanita Jordan, Amber White and Megan Zullo, enter the mix for the Pack this season.
This tune up for the regular season features the Wolfpack Women against a collection of former collegiate players, including Ebony Tanner (Richmond), Tynecia Pam (Temple), Katie Alsdurf (Minnesota), Veronica Johns-Richardson (Colorado), Beliva May (Cincinnati), Sherelle Sowho (West Virginia), Camille Murphy (Georgia), Amy Wright (Arkansas) and Nikita Bell, Kenya McBee and Leah Metcalf of North Carolina.
