About Dartmouth
(10-3, 1-0 Ivy)
The Big Green of Dartmouth will visit the confines of Reynolds Coliseum and meet the Wolfpack for the first time in history on Sunday afternoon. This program is no stranger to success, although not likely mentioned in the same sentence as larger institutions such as Tennessee, the Big Green have won 14 Ivy League titles and have been to five NCAA Tournaments, all under the guidance of head coach Chris Wielgus (2005, 2000, 1999, 1995, and 1983). This season Dartmouth has 10-3 and has won its last four games and has not posted back-to-back losses yet. Two of its losses have come on the road, including a 62-47 loss at Texas A&M on Dec. 21. Part of Dartmouth's success could be do in part to the stellar three-point shooting from senior guard Jeannie Cullen, who is ranked second in the nation for long balls made in a game with 3.5 makes per game. And it's not just her makes, but her percentage as well. She is hitting 46.2 percent of her attempts, which is 19th in the country. Overall she leads the team in scoring with 15.2 ppg. Senior forward Krista Perry is the team's top rebounder with 6.9 rpg.
All-Time vs. Ivy Group
NC State is 1-0 all-time against the eight-member Ivy Group. The Pack has only faced Yale, back on Nov. 29, 1997, at a tournament hosted by DePaul. NC State won 83-53.
Other Ivy teams include Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Harvard, Penn and Princeton.
