Wolfpack Back in Top 25

RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State women's basketball (10-4, 1-1 ACC) re-entered the Associated Press Top 25 poll at the No. 25 spot after a three-week absence. The ranking is the 321st all-time for the Wolfpack and seventh time in the 25th position. The Wolfpack won two of three games last week and has won four of its last five, which includes an upset win over then No. 25 Virginia Tech on Jan. 2.
The Wolfpack had dropped out from the No. 23 spot in Dec. 19, week 7.
NC State travels to Virginia for a 7 p.m. tip-off on Friday, Jan. 13, before returning home to face No. 4 ranked North Carolina on Sunday at 5 p.m. Both games will be televised with the Virginia game regionally on FOX Sports South and the UNC game nationally on FOX Sports Net.
