Wolfpack 14th, 17th and 25th in Preseason Polls

RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State women's basketball is already in the national spotlight and preseason practice has yet to officially begin. The preseason polls are out and the Wolfpack is in. NC State is ranked 14th by Steet & Smith, 17th by Athlon and 25th by Lindy's. Eight of the Pack's scheduled or potential opponents are also ranked among the preseason top 25 polled. NC State ended the season ranked 21st by the Associated Press and 22nd by the USAToday/ESPN Coaches Poll.
Official team practices are set to begin Friday, Oct. 14, at 7 p.m. The Pack opens the regular season on Friday, Nov. 18, at home against UNC Greensboro at 7 p.m. The conference slate tips off on Monday, Jan. 2, at 7 p.m. in Reynolds.
