The Wolfpack will host UNC Greensboro at 7 p.m. in Reynolds Coliseum to kick off its 32nd year as a program.
"Once again we have a very strong schedule," said head coach Kay Yow. "Our schedule will be very challenging and we will have to be ready early. We will face a potential 17 teams that advanced into postseason play last season, including 15 NCAA Tournament teams. This year brings the toughest and most competitive ACC schedule to date and every team has become stronger and more competitive."

NC State played both the Commodores and the Colonials away last year and return for two home games this season. Other postseason teams on the schedule include first round Dartmouth and WNIT participant Brigham Young. NC State will then travel to Las Vegas to compete in the Duel in the Desert, Dec. 17-18. The opening game will be against Utah, which advanced to the NCAA second round a year ago and a potential second game against Notre Dame, also a second round team in 04-05.
