RALEIGH, N.C. - For those fans who attended an event in Reynolds Coliseum this past year, store that memory forever. Next year, the arena will have a new look that includes a new floor, lighting, sound system and seats. Volleyball, gymnastics, wrestling and women's basketball will all inherit the benefits of the improvements.
In addition, the coliseum will be the new home of the women's basketball offices on the floor level. The basement will house a new sports medicine, athletic equipment area, weight training area, locker rooms, softball offices and a few administration offices as well. NC State also installed a new roof on the coliseum.
Construction on this project began last winter and will continue through the summer and into next fall.
