Wolfpack Remains in AP Top 25

RALEIGH, N.C. - NC State (21-7) remained in the Associated Press poll for the seventh-straight week. The Wolfpack, dropped one spot from last week, 19th-to-20th, after a 63-56 loss to then No. 25 Maryland in the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament on Saturday, March 5.
NC State will await the announcement of the at-large bids into the 2005 NCAA Tournament. The bracket pairings, sites and times will be announced Sunday, March 13, 5-6 p.m. on ESPN.
The Wolfpack has been to the tournament 17 times since 1982 and owns a record of 17-17.
The Wolfpack first debuted in nation's top 25 back on January 24 for the first time since December 17, 2001.
