Take a look at some photos taken throughout the Wolfpack's two-day stay in Greensboro so far.
NC State arrived in Greensboro on Thursday, March 4, after a two-hour practice in Raleigh, and has been going ever since. After checking into the hotel, the players and staff prepared for the Atlantic Coast Conference's annual âÂ?oeSenior SaluteâÂ?Â?, or the ACC Banquet. Wolfpack seniors Kendra Bell and Darline Jasmin were honored among the other seniors graduating from around the ACC. It is a tradition for the teams to dress up and enjoy a nice meal while sharing laughs throughout the inspirational highlight video.
On Friday, NC State's Tiffany McCollins and assistant coach Trena Trice-Hill had a 6 a.m. wake-up call to participate in a live interview with the local FOX news channel at the ACC Fan Fest. T-Mac raced the reporter, while Coach Hill provided commentary. NC State then went to watch the first game, which featured Miami and Georgia Tech. The Hurricanes advanced on a last-second shot by Tamara James. Miami will face North Carolina on Saturday. Following the game, the Wolfpack ate lunch and returned to the hotel to prepare for its own practice session at 3:40 p.m. in the coliseum.
NC State had a very intense and focused 45-minute practice. The session was followed by several interviews with the local media.
The Pack then changed and headed to dinner before returning to the coliseum to watch the conclusion of an exciting game between Wake Forest and Virginia Tech. The Demon Deacons advanced to play Duke on Saturday. NC State then stayed in the crowd to watch their possible quarterfinal opponent, Clemson or Maryland. The Terps won and NC State will look ahead to finally getting into some live-game competition on Saturday, at 8 p.m.
