Wolfpack Remains in AP Top 25

NC State women's basketball (15-5, 4-3) remained in the Associated Press Top 25 poll this week as the No. 25 team in the nation. The Wolfpack debuted as the No. 25 team on January 24, after a 3-0 performance the week prior, which included road wins against then No. 23 Virginia Tech and No. 16 Maryland. NC State was narrowly defeated by then No. 1/4 Duke, 52-49 in Raleigh on Sunday, Jan. 30.
NC State has been in the Top 25 a total of 311 weeks, the sixth most in the nation and best among the current 11 Atlantic Coast Conference teams.
The Wolfpack hosts Virginia on Thursday, Feb. 3, at 7 p.m. in Reynolds Coliseum.
