RALEIGH, N.C. -
What does the Wolfpack Family mean to you?
The Wolfpack family is very special to me because they are my family away from home
Biggest Reason I Chose NC State?
Kay Yow and staff and the NCSU environment.
Who is the biggest inspiration in your life and why?
I am blessed with several inspirations in my life, but my biggest is my uncle. He's known as a fighter. He suffered almost his entire life with sickle cell and he fought through it until April 2005.
What does it mean to you to be a part of such tradition of excellence at NC State?
It's a blessing sent from God, so I try to take advantage of every moment
What (if any) pregame routines do you have?
I meditate and read my Bible. Then a few minutes before I go up on the court, I dance "wild" with my sisters ( teammates)
Use three words to describe NC State Basketball
Legendary, Blessed, Dedicated
When people see you play what do you want them to know?
That I am giving 110% every second I'm in the game
What did you do over the summer?
I was in the athletic training room "faithfully" spending time with my dear friend, Stephanie ( athletic trainer) rehabbing my repaired ACL
How has playing basketball changed your life?
Overall, it has developed me into a strong young lady; mentally and physically
What advice do you have for little girls who want to be like you?
Always keep your family near and close to your heart. Believe in yourself and the ability God has given you. Set your goals and stay focused even if things look bad. Never give up on your dreams. Be disciplined and work extremely hard and known that you can accomplish all things based on Phil. 4:13
What is it about playing in the ACC that is special to you?
Being able to compete with top athletes.
One word to describe your game and why?
Versatile; because I display many different skills
If you could take one thing from your hometown to Raleigh what would it be?
My loving parents
Favorite pregame meal?
Steak, baked potato and jelly toast
Favorite basketball moment (for example: team cheer, swish of basket, crowd).
When the team is in the tunnel and Sasha and I lead songs to get hype
Why do you favor that moment?
It feels good when we are all together singing our cheers, getting our minds right to play
What is one thing you miss about being a kid?
Having the power to bully my friends. I was a bossy lil' gal. But I am far from that now.
When did you first become interested in basketball?
I started carrying a basketball in the second grade
What other talents are you proud of?
Play the drums for my church. I can draw and paint. People say I can sing (I'm not confident with that)
