What is your most outstanding achievement outside of basketball?
Some how along the way I have become some girl's role model. They look up to me for the person I am on and off the court. To me that us an amazing compliment.
What does the Wolfpack Family mean to you?
It means opportunity. The Wolfpack family has opened doors for me that I never thought possible. They have given that extra push and confidence.
Biggest Reason I Chose NC State?
It was an adventure that I knew I had to do. Plus, the university and school spirit just kind of took over me.
Who is the biggest inspiration in your life and why?
My father and mother because they have overcome a lot in their life. They were always involved in my life and pushed me to be the best person I can.
What does it mean to you to be a part of such tradition of excellence at NC State?
I haven't been able to truly be a part if the tradition but as a newcomer you can see the tradition in everything we do as a team. I look forward to building on that tradition.
What (if any) pregame routines do you have?
I have to get up and get ready the day of the game. Meaning: I wear make-up and fix my hair. It is something I have done for years. Then right before warm-up, I pray.

Intense, pride, competitive
When people see you play what do you want them to know?
I want people to know that I have done my very best and that I have worked as hard as possible
What did you do over the summer?
I went home for the month of June and came to school in July. I went to school and worked out with the girls.
How has playing basketball changed your life?
Basketball has taught me every lesson of life. I have learned that when you work hard enough and believe in yourself, you can do anything you want.
What advice do you have for little girls who want to be like you?
Don't ever let someone tell you that you can't do it because if you want it bad enough and work hard enough, anything is within your reach.
What is it about playing in the ACC that is special to you?
Coming from Texas, all we ever here about is football and the Big 12. Now I get to be in the middle of basketball country, aka; The ACC
One word to describe your game and why?
Intense - I work with intensity in every aspect of my game.
If you could take one thing from your hometown to Raleigh what would it be?
My best friends.
Favorite pregame meal?
Chicken of any kind, baked potato and salad
Favorite basketball moment (for example: team cheer, swish of basket, crowd).
Adrenaline after your team scores in a close game
Why do you favor that moment?
Because it is at that moment when everyone in the gym believes your team will win and they are behind you 110%.
When did you first become interested in basketball?
When I was little, my parents were always involved with sports and it just kind of grew on me
What other talents are you proud of?
Leadership ability, communicate well with others, hard working
