What is your most outstanding achievement outside of basketball?
Knowing that I have made a difference in someone else's life

Who is the biggest inspiration in your life and why?
My dad. He has an incredible work ethic and determination to overcome any obstacle. He believes in me.
What does it mean to you to be a part of such tradition of excellence at NC State?
It's an honor
When people see you play what do you want them to know?
With what I have been through with my right knee, I'm thankful to still be playing basketball
What did you do over the summer?
I worked in the government and public affairs for Time Warner Cable. I absolutely loved the job and the people I worked with. I spent the weekends up in Cleveland, Ohio with my Grammie who passed away in August.
How has playing basketball changed your life?
It hasn't necessarily "changed" my life. I don't know my life without basketball. It has been the people I have met on my journey that have changed my life.
What advice do you have for little girls who want to be like you?
Walk to the beat of our own drum. Don't feel like you need to conform to those around you. Always try to make a difference in someone else's life.
What is it about playing in the ACC that is special to you?
Having the opportunity to compete in the most competitive conference
One word to describe your game and why?
Unselfish (no need to explain)
If you could take one thing from your hometown to Raleigh what would it be?
My loved ones
Favorite pregame meal?
Salad from Outback
Favorite basketball moment (for example: team cheer, swish of basket, crowd).
A close game, the crowd on their feet and being rowdy.
Why do you favor that moment?
The adrenaline rush
What is one thing you miss about being a kid?
Having no responsibilities--just get up and have fun!
When did you first become interested in basketball?
I started playing when I was five, but it wasn't until I was about seven when I started beating all the boys in the neighborhood. That's when I really started becoming interested
