NC State's Conor Taylor (No. 36 ITA) and Nick Cavaday advanced to the quarterfinals of the Baylor Invitational in doubles before falling on Saturday, Sept. 25. Cavaday lost in the round of 16 singles to the No. 5 seed, Matija Zgaga in a three setter. Cavaday, who had won two straight to open his college career, fell in a tightly played match, 6-4, 5-7, 6-2.
