Sept. 21, 2004
NC State Women's Basketball is pleased to bring you the 2004 Recruiting Seminar on the campus of NC State University, Saturday, Oct. 16. The purpose of this event is to bring together coaches, athletic directors, parents, and prospective student athletes to inform everyone of NCAA rules, guidelines, and everything you might need to know about being recruited. This event will be most beneficial for 9th graders through seniors who are interested in playing at a Division I institution.
Presentors will include individuals from: NC State's Academic Support for Athletes, NC State's Director for NCAA Compliance, Strength and Conditioning, and the entire NC State Women's Basketball Coaching staff including Hall of Fame Coach Kay Yow. This seminar is not limited to information for women's basketball. We encourage any coach, parent, AD, or student athlete who is interested in learning more about the recruiting process for Division I institutions to come to this event.
Registration will begin at 10:00am in the front lobby of Reynolds Coliseum. This event is being held during the first official women's basketball practice day for the 2004-2005 season. You are welcome to enter the Coliseum on the upper level to have you and your team, parents, staff, etc. watch practice. We will end practice at 11:00am and begin immediately with our seminar.
Due to the potential for a great crowd, we would like for you to return the registration form to us by October 8th. You may mail or fax the completed form to us. A light lunch of subs and pizza will be provided for $5. We apologize, but due to NCAA Rules, we must charge for food!
