RALEIGH, N.C. - Coach Rollie Geiger and the NC State cross country program have released their schedule for the 2004 season. The eight meet itinerary includes two matches in which the Wolfpack will play host at the nearby SAS Complex in Cary, N.C.
"Once again we find ourselves with a very competitive schedule," said Coach Geiger. "We look forward to competing hard and getting some action out of our new runners which we having coming in next season. Our goals are always to win the ACC Championship, qualify for nationals and to finish in the national top-10. Just like every year, we are going to go after these goals and try and continue our reputation as a top program on the national level."
Coming off of their third consecutive Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) title, the men's program will return ACC Champion Andy Smith and former all conference honoree Ricky Brookshire. The men closed out last season with a 10th-place finish at the NCAA Championships.
