Raleigh, N.C. - The NC State men's tennis team was recently recognized as the recipient of the ACC Sportsmanship award for men's tennis based on a vote of its peers. The nine league schools voted on the award, and NC State was selected as the only Wolfpack spring sport to win the award. Georgia Tech won three, followed by Virginia and North Carolina with two.
Maryland and Wake Forest each won a sportsmanship award as well.
"Part of success is winning the right way," head coach Jon Choboy said. "A college team must represent the university in a positive manner. We have a team full of top character guys, good students and tremendous athletes. To be awarded this from our peers is a sign that we are representing NC State to the fullest of our abilities."
